Video games - in the future
We already have amazing graphics, powerful consoles and pc's,VR
Some of the gamers are still not satisfied with the graphics these days
How much can you improve it? It's already perfect!

I think VR is not perfect yet. It should have higher resolution (4K per eye or 8K), higher framerate (100fps or more) and wider field of view (more than 180 deg), lighter unit, no tethers, and dirt cheap.
shareI played a VR game and it was pretty sweet. Not realistic though, just like being in a really cool cartoon.
As for the future - who knows?
Graphics could be improved if not held back by consoles. Also if Nvidia instead of releasing a slightly more powerful card every year or so to milk consumers instead focused on making significant jumps that justified the price tag. Why bother though when games are bottlenecked by consoles in the first place and they don't have to.
shareWell, the new generation of games will require much more powerful specs in the future, but I think it's useless
The way how graphics looks now,it's enough
What about E3 though? They show highly polished versions of the games that in many cases look way better than the actual released game. Wouldn't you rather have the E3 version instead of the downgraded one?
shareAt E3 showed only the demo of the games, the actual games are still in development. When they will be released, the games will look very different then you saw at E3
shareYeah my bad. I actually stopped looking at demo's for years and after You Tubing a bit it seems a lot of games now actually look better when released.
I think it was mainly Ubisoft that was having huge disparities between what they showed and what they released.
I still think games will and should get better but imagine if graphics got as good as Avatar in games with VR. People would probably be found dead at home because they couldn't stop playing :D
It’s never enough, and innovation will never stop. I’ve seen people say the same things with ever generation and it’s never true. Until you’re walking about on holodeck, there’s room for improvement.
shareI thought there would be a photo real version of FIFA by now. It's not far off though.
