What is your view about Roseanne ?

I can't imagine it being any good without Roseanne.. I'm tired of censorship, of any kind, whether or not I agree with it or not. It's empty gestured, self-righteousness... They think they're doing the right thing, so they can feel good for 10 minutes.

It's always the trivial stuff.. When it comes to war, loss of liberty, prisons, poverty - "No Comment"

Are you talking about the old show? Sure, give it a shot. But it's better to stop when Becky gets replaced by Elliot from Scrubs.

I watched it years ago and it was decent, never seen the newer ones though.

The show or the actress? The original show was good for the first three to four years then the quality slipped pronouncedly. Actors are no different than regular people and a certain percentage will demonstrate behavior unacceptable to society. I suspect that Bill Cosby and Roseanne will be far from the only ones that will implode rendering their media products extinct. One more step towards the extinction of television as we know it today. Had this level of scrutiny existed decades ago the current formatting of star driven programming might have totally disappeared before current times.

The old show was great until the last season when it all went wrong

The new show was pretty good but short lived

Roseanne herself is a bit of an enigma
She can be very funny, intelligent and charming in interviews but then goes and does the stupidest things in her personal life
Roseanne is a weirdo but the shows were good stuff

Watch the old show, its a good one. John Goodman is HILARIOUS.
