In this day of age with all these reboots staring the original cast (Cobra Kai, Roseanne, Fuller house etc..) , what old show or movie would you like to see rebooted? I would love a Goonies reboot but NOT as a movie (As I do not think it can succeed in that platform) but more as a 10 episodes series in the style of Cobra Kai.
shareNot sure, but I have to say that when I first heard of the Karate Kid sequel series Cobra Kai I was ambivalent, but my wife and I both enjoyed this immensely, enough that I'd like to see some other iconic movies revisited in the same manner. We are so looking forward the next Cobra Kai season and hope they could be convinced to do a third although I seriously doubt it.
At the same time I would prefer them to do two season with a definitive ending rather then more and have the show dies on a cliffhanger like what happened to Ash vs the Evil dead. I think if they reboot classic films into TV, it is better to do them as a one season/2 season mini series, it makes more sense.

I think Damnation Alley could be fun with some better effects, but I don't know if I'd want them to go serious with it or kinda b movie it up.
shareAgreed, the SFX haven't aged well at all, even at the time they looked a bit shit. If they make it someday hopefully it'll be a realistic/disturbing theme like 28 Days Later and The Road. 👍
