Which 90s film is worse: Titanic, or Forrest Gump

I vote Forrest Gump.

Titanic , but the absolute worst movie of the 90s was by far Thelma & Louise , what a piece of garbage

reply

I kind of liked Thelma and Louise. Great movie to sneak some booze into.

reply

I agree, tex. & a manipulating piece of garbage at that.

reply

blatant self-serving manipulation

reply

I really enjoyed both but the scenes during the climax of Titanic where Billy Zane was chasing Jack around the ship at the end were 'take me out of the spectacle' dumb...that whole sequence should have been cut and left on the floor
Simply awful story telling in an otherwise very good movie

Forrest Gump manipulated the emotions and frankly was quite unrealistic and the coincidences were absurd...still, i happily fell for it hook, line and sinker
I consider Forrest Gump a sweet 'feel-gooder' on par with Groundhogs Day...another one that makes me very happy and hopeful

Titanic

I'm a dirty Harry guy, so as far as I'm concerned they both sucked.

reply

Titanic, because its devotees were bigger assholes than Gump’s fans.
