I remember hearing about a slavery movie a few years ago and checking out a few scenes. People called it one of the most disturbing movies in history. It was shot guerilla style. It looked almost like a documentary, but it wasn't. It was a very dirty looking film and the camerawork was all over the place which was released in the 70's, I think.

shareNo, that's not it. It had a similar look to that though in terms of picture quality. It looked like they filmed a lot of it hand-held. I have a vague memory of a scene on a boat where a bunch of blacks were being laughed at and they cut into extreme closeups of the slave owners.

Yes! That's it. I heard it was terrible as well but I was thinking about watching it to see why it was so disturbing. It's available on Youtube uploaded by the user "Black Power." Because, you know, "white power" is considered racist but "black power" is inspiring.
