Most hated movie/show that you loved

Name some movies or tv shows that you love, but everyone in the world hates. Bonus points if the imdb rating is under 5.

Here's mine:
Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus (2009) - imdb rating 2.5
I mean, come on. A shark jumps out of the water and eats a Boeing 747 flying at 40,000 ft? PURE. GENIUS.

i liked all those bad movies. Good to just turn on, have a few drinks with friends and let your mind melt

I like really bad sequels in long running series. Like Freddy 2, Jason Takes Manhattan, Halloween 4 and 5, I like the Sharknado movies, I LOVE Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings, I have a thing for the Fast and the Furious films, and I like the new Star Wars movies, except I hated Rogue One, which a lot of people seem to like.

Sharknado movies

I'm waiting for them to release the Sharknado box set so I can binge watch them all and drop my IQ a good 20 points. Sharknado is made by Asylum Films, the same folks that brought us Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus. Their formula is to get 1 famous washed up actor (or in the case of Mega Shark, it's 80s teen pop star Debbie Gibson) and a really bad script with recycled props from all their other movies, and bam instant masterpiece. Sometimes they don't even bother trying to get a famous washed up actor. God bless them every one!!

As far as I'm concerned, washed up Ian Ziering killing sharknados is why I watch. I sort of tolerate Tara Reid. How is it possible that Reid is 12 years younger than Ziering yet looks like 20 years older? Drugs and alcohol, I think, right?

reply

Oh yeah I liked Crystal Skull as well. I won't say I loved it, but I definitely didn't have the fiery hatred for it that others did.

That poster is so inappropriately suggestive, I must watch the movie immediately.

I'll see your Part II and raise you an Amityville Dollhouse

Ok you're on. I don't have Netflix or anything like it but I do have an old fashioned DVD library around the corner and I'm sure they'll have it.

[[[Armageddon.]]]

It retains it's breathing heart thru its entire running time. You can buy in to it & feel good about the purchase.

"We win, Gracie." as Harry activates the plunger. Typical American response to a catastrophic event---man made OR not.
