I agree!

🎵And the rocket's red glare / Lots of bombs in the air / Gave proof to the night / That we still had our flag🎶

Inspiring really!

Also, there's Bleeding Gums Murphy's famous twentysix minute version before the Springfield Isotopes game in "The Simpsons"! (Right, captainbucky?! 🤜🤛)

I remember Whitney Houston could nail this song
What a set of pipes on that lady!

Hear, hear. She could sing.

LOL!

Poor Enrico Palazzo...the poor guy was ruined after that fiasco😔

I don’t have one. If we set aside all our inculcation to be emotionally attached to the song, it’s a bad piece of music, unmelodious and strident, not to mention being essentially unsingable. Francis Scott Key is not recognized as a notable composer. I would like to see it replaced with America The Beautiful.

I love the memorable ones that people talked about for weeks.
Most recent was Fergie's wild ride rendition! Whew!
I also fondly remember Roseanne and sadly, the heat she took. She was just being Rosanne. I never thought there was any disrespect there. If you are going to get a comedian to perform the Anthem, be prepared for it to be funny!

Let's not forget Aunt Bethany in Christmas Vacation!
