What films have you seen that best depicted the 1970s in look and style? Made post 1980s

My first choice would be Ang Lee’s The Ice Storm (1997) All the anachronisms were spot on : toe socks, ponchos, Frank Zappa on the stereo and Nixon on the TV!

The Lovely Bones (2009) has a very believable 70's atmosphere.

Not the car movie, but the true story of Florida TV anchor Christine Chubbicks on air suicide
The 1974 recreation is perfect!

have you ever seen 'kate plays christine?' i actually liked that take on the chubbicks story a bit more.

Apollo 13 (1995) It captures that era with the architecture, furnishings and decorative items in the family's home, plus the clothing, which were actually 1960s leftovers (the event took place in April 1970 when the decade had barely started).
