"A Perfect Murder"
I love it so. Douglas almost pulls it off and is able to remain ensconced in luxury beyond comprehension. Almost.
The kicker? I grieve for him.
"The Painted Veil" - both the original & remake.
The original is best. The husband returns home, finds his bedroom door locked and the man's pith helmet on a table next to the door. He tries the handle (gently), then walks away (quietly). We're left to imagine the going's on behind that door, in the man's bed. that's fine with me. I have nary problem imagining that.
In the remake we're shown, but, it's okay, because it's Naomi Watts.
