I don't know if you've seen this marvelous, quirky critically acclaimed series. This dramedy only lasted one season but was the stepping stone for some tremendously funny movies...drum roll....Freaks and Geeks and it's available on Netflix. Best show ever!!!

Although I just noticed your likes and this may not be a good fit....sorry.

reply

I'm not sure what "unknown" is. And are you thinking of newer shows?

Some shows I enjoyed in the 2000s and were not on the big networks:

Monk
Psych
Warehouse 13
The Librarians
Boardwalk Empire
The Sopranos
Dallas

reply

Will look into the librarians, have seen the rest. Thx

reply

You've seen a lot! Sorry, I can't help you out any further!🤷‍♀️

Well, maybe the British tv show Death in Paradise. I thought the few first seasons were rather entertaining.

Noah Wyle (or Dr. Carter)! It's not great television, but it's silly, brainless cheese that's entertaining enough for me. I needed something similar after Warehouse 13 ended.☹

I never got into Warehouse 13, but Eureka was a very fun show that I think might be similar. I think it had some of the same cast too.

I've been recommending Sherlock to everyone. It's on Netflix and stars Benedict Cumberbatch as a modern-day Sherlock Holmes and Martin Freeman as Dr. Watson.

Ever seen the cop show called 'Dark Blue' (2009-2010)? It explores a surprisingly accurate account of what it's like to be an undercover officer in deep-seated criminal turf. Often disturbing at times.

Looks interesting, never heard of it. Thanks
