Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton

Married to each other twice, same with Natalie Wood and Robert Wagner. Can you think of any other examples? Would you ever consider remarrying? Do you know anyone who has?

reply

George C. Scott and Colleen Dewhurst

I'm sure there are more.

I have a friend who did this.
Divorced then several years later they remarried and are still together.
They got married way too young and were't ready for that commitment.

reply

I'm actually surprised the first real example was a keeper. I hate to say it, maybe I'm weak and stupid, but I got back together with my boyfriend.

reply

I really do hope it works out.

Maybe each of you has grown a little and appreciate each other more now.
I would think it takes a strong person to be able to do this.
Actually it takes 2 strong people.

reply

I know we love each other and that's the part I don't question. I may overthink it sometimes. Neither of us are abusive or using the other, and we both want to give it another go.

reply

We all overthink relationships.
That's one of the reasons so many fail.

Either way you'll know.
You're both all in right now so that's a good thing.
Who knows in 30 years you guys could be together looking back at this time and laughing about it.
Talking about how silly it all was.

reply

Thanks for the advice, I remembered you were the one who took time to engage on this topic before when nobody elae really wanted to.

reply

Relationships are relationships.
I've had my share.

The bits a pieces are different but were all still looking for the same thing.

I really like Colleen Dewhurst, though I mostly know her from Anne of Green Gables. What else should I watch with her?

reply

She's a talented Lady.

Off the top of my head I remember her in the Boy Who Could Fly
She played the mother in The Dead Zone which was a small part
I also remember her a John Wayne western but not sure which one.

reply

I. Love. The Boy Who Could Fly! I remember her in it now that you mention it. That movie is directed by the original Michael Myers

reply

I also really like Nick Castle's The Last Starfighter, Dewhurstless though it may be

reply

Dewhurstless made me literally LOL.!

reply

Glad I could get you, it's really too bad she's Dewhurstwhile alive

reply

That's just bad.
Soooo bad. lol

reply

It was bad, clunky too, but I try not to remove posts even when I immediately regret it.

reply

"I try not to remove posts even when I immediately regret it"

This is the story of my complete life my friend.
You'll do well here.

reply

The Cowboys (1972) was the JW movie

reply

Ahhh, that makes sense. I knew you would probably know.
Good movie.

Bruce Dern what an a-hole in that movie.

reply

Jose Ferrer and Rosemary Clooney

reply

Thanks for another example, it seems like something that wouldn't be very common, but entertainers tend to be an uncommon bunch

reply

Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson

reply

Huh, that one I didn't know at all, but I do know he started pursuing her and maybe even dating when she was like 14

This is interesting, I haven't seen JCVD yet, but my current love of him is through the roof. I should check it out.

reply

[deleted]

I've watched Bloodsport, Kickboxer, Cyborg, Universal Soldier, and Sudden Death all in the last 3 days. I may need help. What else should I check out?
