If humanity is around in a few hundred years and I think that it will they will have that "what the hell were they thinking" thought moment when wondering how things got so screwed up in our time. Biggest example is working humans as slave labor for the enrichment of a few. Next would be putting money ahead of the environment (ground water pollution). I am anything but a raving liberal on most matters but these things need to change at some point.

shareWhile I agree that world will probably always need improvements, there has never been a better time to be alive. Worldwide crime is at it's lowest ever, globalization helps keep would be dictators in check(not all are), some 3rd world countries have risen out of poverty,less people are starving globally than ever before, our life expectancy is higher than ever. Unfortunately,news coverage is much more thorough,so it sounds like everything is going to hell,but statistically things are the best they've ever been.
