At the end of the movie a blond woman is going to shoot a man in a bed, but he sees her and throws a knife that lands in her throat. I just can't remember the name of the movie, darn! Help, pleeeze!

Yep! Prizzi's Honor with Jack Nicholson and Angelica Houston. Great movie, though the ending was kind of odd.
