10 years since The Dark Knight - how well has it aged
I think it was absolute crap to begin with, horrible dialogue, choppy storytelling/direction, even Ledger's Joker was laughably overrated.

shareFor a comic book movie I thought it was pretty spot on as a follow up to Batman Begins.
As a believable story that could take place in the real world...not so much.
I still love it though and remember it fondly.
Christian Bale's "Batman" voice has not aged well. Neither has Aaron Eckhart's hammy performance (probably the reason we don't see Eckhart very much anymore). And Maggie Gyllenhaal is one grating, unappealing love interest.
shareI'm not disagreeing with anything you are saying.
I just take it as a comic book movie.
It's no biggie in the full stakes of cinema in that regard.
The opening heist is still by far the best part. It's a great movie, but the rewatchability was a bit low, IMO.
I don't think there's much worth watching after the hospital blows up. The finale and ending is a disaster.
