Sad but true, I've suffered from it my entire life but I live in a shithole, it's just sad to see Hollywood functioning the same way. Not the golden age though, people had talent back then.
shareI suppose in the general work force, mediocre costs less. Of course, they also get what they pay for. I've seen plenty staff turnover happen due to that hiring practice, and managers complaining they "can't get good staff anymore".
Very true.... worked as a cook while I was in college. The turn over was crazy. "Can't get good staff anymore" or is it that the place across the street is paying 2 bucks more an hour and you are too cheap to do the same?
