Do you go to "sit-down" restaurants by yourself?
I'm usually accompanied by my parents and sometimes siblings for restaurants like Wildfire, but I wouldn't mind going to such places by myself.

shareI have done this but not very often
I like to bring a newspaper or play on my phone
I recall feeling very mysterious...'ooh whos that guy eating alone?' I imagine the ladies saying
And of course im too cool to look up so i tuck into my salad and im all like 'thats right ladies, im a secret agent and im here to meet my opposite number from Moscow...Dmitri doesnt know it yet but later, after the chicken fried steaks and vegetable medley im going to take his life in the parking lot and steal the plans for the crypto 2000 machine and race off in my supercharged Mercedes
Anyway, no i dont eat out alone that often
We go out to eat once in a great while. These days I admit that I do a bit of research on the places where we plan to dine. They have to be clean! The food has to be fresh.
I think I have seen way too many episodes of Kitchen Nightmares. I'd eat out at more restaurants if a preliminary tour of the kitchens were allowed..... check out the walk-ins, take a look at the stove and the surfaces where my food is prepared?
I much prefer cooking meals at home. I enjoy it and we know what we are eating!

There is this one amazing gourmet stuffed burger place by my house that my ex didn't like. So I would always go there for lunch on days when she worked. Awesome staff, food and big screen tvs and beer. Sat there all the time. I think for me it's different if it is like a sports bar (a place you can get buzzed and watch sports) and eat wings, as apposed to a nice steak house or something
shareI used to all the time.
Now I cook for myself with my girlfriend. Restaurants are so cheap, dirty and have such unhealthy food for the most part I don't even like to go out any more.
In my area rents are so high restaurants have to constantly cut down on the portions and the quality of their food to survive. Everything in business now is cuthroat ... I am ready for the revolution to come and the guillotine for the corrupt billionaires who make the lives of most Americans so difficult.
