Do you like Las Vegas?

Yes, I don’t really gamble either but I love Vegas. Lots of great day trips to be enjoyed if you like hiking: Mt Charleston and the Spring Mountains, Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire are all within an hour’s drive, and Zion National Park is about 2 1/2 hours away. Really cool stuff especially if you’re an east coast lowlander like me.

There is a tech expo called CES held annually in Las Vegas. It's really huge. They have all kinds of new technology. Pretty cool!

My former neighbor visited me in Los Angeles and was driving through vegas back to work and said he'd stay a couple of days. i said I'd love to go. We left really late and once we crossed the border we gambled at the casino right on the border. Then we drove for another hour or so to hit vegas. The spotlight beaming into the sky is a nice landmark as you drive. We gambled until the daylight and got a cheap motel. The next day we got up in the PM and went for buffet lunch at 330 or so. It clocked over to dinner time menu and they brought out crabs. It was pretty cool.

He ended up losing a lot of money. I just walked around the place, got a few free beers as I sat on the slot machines. It was fun smoking in doors again.

I'd like to do a ritzy version, with 5 star hotel, shows, resort pool, etc. One day.

I love the place! I love the shows, buffets, casinos (even though I rarely gamble) and just walking the Strip cause there's always something happening.
