Why is the sound in old italian films out of sync?
I don't like that.
shareMost classic italian movies had their voices dubbed over in post-production http://www.nytimes.com/1992/12/18/style/18iht-dub_.html
shareIn opinion, the dubbing is ruin the movie.
shareI dont either...
But i know that a lot of Italian movies were meant to be marketed abroad...
The intent with the Italo-horror films (some of my favorites btw) was to rip off a foreign idea and shoot a quickie on the cheap...see most of their 'Zombi' ones for example...
The US did the same with Friday the 13th...we ripped off Bay of Blood to good effect with thoses earlier Fridays...
I didn't know that italians made "zombie"movies...interestingš¤
