Many people follow entertainment to escape depressing stuff. So it IS nice to hear these two go married and hopefully they will remain together. Hollywood is so full of innocuous relationships it's nice to hear. If you are not into baseball sure you won't care. But many do.

shareThe whole episode has left me unimpressed. I never knew how immature she was until I saw the online pics of her giving a middle finger as though it was some kind of cool and sexy gesture. Then the 400 dollar denim jacket she was obviously hawking for some clothing designer. Hot twenty something women are not that hard to come by and chances are the one you spot in the grocery store at least has the mind of twenty plus year old woman to go with the body of a twenty plus year old woman. Wedding in Italy seems the height in being pretentious to me. Verlander can have her as she will be reduced to has been within a decade when her looks fade.

shareHe was with the Tigers who were out of the playoffs in June so I guess he figured an early November wedding would be fine. Then he got traded at the end of August to Houston and went on to win the World Series which went to seven games and ended on November 1. The timing was tight but I would have stayed for the parade.
