I just received a response to one of my posts. When I checked my email , the cupboard was bare.
Come to think of it, I haven't received any email notifications in weeks.
Is anyone else having this problem?

There's been a handful of people I've talked to that haven't been getting them
for close to month or so.
I'm going to email Jim. Meanwhile, I just discovered that you can click on the little bell in the upper right hand corner to see the responses to your posts. That's why I'm replying to yours now.

I emailed Jim several weeks ago about this issue, when Stratego brought it up.
He said the site has a monthly limit on email notifications and apparently it was used up. However, I still don't get any. I don't know if Jim's since decided to do away with them or not. It could be the population here has grown enough that the limit is quickly reached.
Thanks for the response Mod 3. Could you please check with Jim about this? I really LOVE the notifications, and would love to have them back again. IMHO it's the best single feature of this web site, or at least it was.

Hi. Thanks for letting us know about this. I haven't posted here in a while and thought I'd reply to some people who incidentally also haven't been active recently; I might wait on those posts until or in case the email notifications feature comes back up. It's a great feature of this site for those of us who might not routinely visit.
