Watching the monsters in the movies is fun too. I think that people do like to be scared as long as they know it isn't real. I once heard or read that it has something to do with being in control of a situation.
What is far more frightening is the things we really don't have any control over.
I watch the evening news each night. You can see the real monsters there. What I see at times is no fun. It's down right frightening.

Here in the US we dress up. Some folks go to partys. The children dress up and go door to door shouting Trick or Treat! People open their doors and give them candy. They had better, or else the kids give a TRICK! LOL!
Yes MissMargo,we do.Actually we adopted this...holyday,mostly the young people go to the parties dressed like monsters.
