shareHi,raiders.I have a serious question for you...Can you tell me why the so called "ressurection of christ" keep changing the date each year?
shareBecause Jesus supposedly died around the Jewish Pesach, which is also a different date every year (first full moon of spring). At a certain point they decided on a specific day, the first Sunday after the first moon of spring.
Yes,but...sorry...i'm not with the church anymore...not all the time this..."hollyday"is on Sunday...good theory, though.
shareIt's not a theory. It's a fact. Easter is the first Sunday after the Full Moon in Libra.
shareIt is on a Sunday every year.
You do the eggs on Thursday. The sweet bread on Friday (do you do that in Romania?). Then eggs again on Saturday, if you were too lazy to do them on Thursday (at least in my house). And then Easter is on Sunday. Same day of the week every year, but on a different date.
Yes,Mina....we also have the same...habits when we " celebrate" easter.
shareNot a theory, croft, the Council of Nicaea made this decision in 325 A.D.

PS Why do you refer to us as "Raiders"? Just curious.
No clue. Sorry.
