How soon is too soon for holiday decorations to appear in stores?

Because it involves peoples beliefs...sorry for my english...and i'm very aware how people react if i say something about religion...

I realize that it's not a happy time for everyone, and the suicide figs are off the charts, but that's not going to ruin my holidays, however, every year my company donates $2,000.00 in food (turkeys included) to the church for the people that might not otherwise afford to buy for Thanksgiving, and we do the same at Christmas time, my truck pulls up to the lower part of the church the eve of the holiday and there's always a line of people waiting, that's one of the best part of the holidays for us,

MissMargoChanning, you are definitely not one of the disgusting people, many people in my own family buy gifts anytime when they see them for someone else, it's serendipity when your out shopping for shoes and you see something that your son or daughter or uncle would like, so you buy it,
there is a huge store right off the highway where I live called "The Christmas Tree Shop" it's Christmas 365 days a year in that store, I love it and so do many other people b/c it's always packed with people, you can do your entire Christmas shopping b/c they have everything,
I once bought a $250.00 winter coat in April at the Gap for $25.00, warmest coat I own, but I had to wait 7 months to wear it, lol.
I know I'm early but, happy holidays.

If you work in retail, you get to see humanity at its worst during Christmas. I am, among other things, Christian. I gladly embrace Jesus as my Lord and Savior. You need not share my faith, and I completely respect that. Blessed be. To me, Christmas means, among other things, "peace on Earth, goodwill to humankind." In our society, too often it means "Get the fuck out of my way. I was too stupid to think ahead and I want what you're trying to buy." It is a miserable time of year. Dimwitted retailers depend on the season to save them, instead of having created year-around sales strategies. This is as commercially dimwitted, and lazy, as the holiday consumers' shopping strategy. By the way, I am completely aware, based on historical evidence, that Jesus was most likely born in what we call July and that the Christian Church appropriated a very popular Pagan fest celebrating the return of The Light as His birthday. It would be (to put it lightly) difficult to overcome so many years of tradition; so I will say to you last-minute, driven, despite shoppers a few weeks hence what I say to my clients: The Lord did not get his material gifts on His birthday. There are 12 days to Christmas, my friend. The Magi (astrologer-kings) arrived in Bethlehem and gave Him their gifts on Twelfth Night, which the French call Petite Noel.
