Samsung cell phone J7
anyone have one? if so how do you like it?
shareI have a huawei p9 lite...very good cellphone.
shareI use the Samsung J7 (2016) right now. Best phone for the price! You can have Xiaomi or other Chinese brands for cheaper, but they usually don't have warranty and support as good as Samsung. Other brands also very seldom utilize a AMOLED screen, which is fantastic indoor and outdoor. Don't pick the J7 Prime though, it doesn't use AMOLED screen (the best feature of a Samsung phone). If you don't mind IPS or even LCD screen, Xiaomi got the best bang of the bucks. I love AMOLED screen so I don't bother with other budget brands.
shareafter I posted, my phone died completely, so I had no choice, I had to go back to the AT&T store and get the J7 I was looking at, it was super reasonable at $8. per month, for 30 months (no big deal) but,,,, I got the Galaxy J7, although there is a Galaxy Prime, the box or the phone doesn't say anything about prime so I don't think it is. it's a nice phone, I like it and it works, lol.
thanks for the info,
BTW, The 5.5-inch Galaxy J7 offers a colorful AMOLED display, just looked it up
I thought about buying it but change my mind. The screen is too small.
share"No one is going to buy phone that big. You can't get your hand around it."
RIP Steve Jobs, you were wrong. Checkmate.
actionkamen, r u talking about the J7? b/c my hands are average size and I have no problem holding it,
BTW, they also have a J3 which is much smaller,
It's a quote of Steve Jobs who insisted that the perfect size for a phone is 3.5" and that nobody would buy bigger phones. Turned out Jobs was not as visionary as people want to believe.
shareoh, didn't see the quotes, so was confused about the Jobs remark,
anyway, turns out I don't like the J7, can't send 1 minute videos says they're too big to send,
tough to navigate, going to take it back and go back to the iPhone,
Yeah, iPhone is more expensive but I like them too, I used to use one and my wife currently has the iPhone 6S. I just like Samsung's version of Android (TouchWiz) more. I find it better to navigate than iOS. But you said otherwise, so maybe different thing for different person.
shareI've had the iPhone for 3 years and the J7 for 3 days, maybe I just have to get used to it,
but the girl at the AT&T store said that Apple will be coming out with a new version of the iPhone in September which will bring the price way down for the outdated iPhone (last years model) she was super helpful through the whole purchase, might do that.
r u using the J7?, never mind, I know you are, lol
Try a huawei, you won't have any problems with the phone.
shareactually, I used the phone camera today at a kids birthday party and like actionkamen says, the J7 has a pretty good camera, it took great pictures and videos, so I'm up in the air about switching,
I do the same at restaurants, I'll order something then call the waitress over and change my order,
and then I don't like what I ordered, should have stayed with my first order, lol...there's a name for that but I can't think of it right now,
Lol
