So today I went to two different people's boards and found them empty. It surprised me because to me this hardly ever happens.
Does anyone come across many empty message boards?
This might just say something about the people I follow. ;)

shareNot all the boards successfully transferred from IMDb to Moviechat. It seems to be mostly message boards about people, but some lesser-known movies and TV shows and such didn't make it either. We'll just have to build them up again.
Of course, there were some on IMDb that never had any posts in the first place either, though.
Yes. I have come across this frequently. Those boards may have been overrun by trolls near the end of Imdb and there was no need to save said boards.

shareI was a 15 years old kid back then,so I was easily impressed by all the action movies,now i'm not that impressed...anyway,I liked very much Sam Winchester,he had a special gift and many demons hunt him down very often for it...what it was,i'm not sure.I also liked that they improvised in their...demon hunting,they were never prepared for this.

Well,Dazed...I also have an facebook account ( finally,after all this time ) and I think I found my..."family" there, I think I should thank April for this...she had her part in my decision...also i'm a member of square-enix and gamefaqs forums😉

Daisy, when I see a board without posts, I check hashed.io, which is a site with no activity but they managed to download more boards than Moviechat. Not all of them, but still some more.

shareJim probably set a threshold of minimum number of topics to transfer from a board, or set an "expiration" time frame so that boards with no recent posts would be left empty. That would minimize the amount of needless old clutter that transferred here.

Maybe it's some of the movies I've been watching lately, (newer non-American, or lesser known maybe...?). But I always try to start a thread to get the ball rolling (even if it's not some earth-shattering analysis).
