Hi,
So I take it some of these General Boards are also archives from IMDb as well? Correct? Is it safe to assume anything that is over 4-5 months was posted over there? Just curious while I'm looking around.

Correct Daisy. One way to tell real easy is to click on a users name. If nothing happens, it's an archive. Otherwise that posters MovieChat history will come up.

Also, active posters will have a number in parentheses next to their name, either (1) or higher, which is the post count.

"Ghost" usernames taken from IMDb won't have a number there, and of course the posts will be from before the site existed.

Even easier is to look at the number of posts behind the username. Archives show no such number.
