I am here to tell you What Movie To Watch.

We’ve all been there. It’s a boring night. You don’t feel like going out. So you want to jut ease back, relax, and watch a movie. But then the question remains: What do I want to watch?

Netflix’s recommendations are severely lacking in personalization, your buddy with a film degree won’t pick up the phone, and there’s only so much Black Mirror you can watch in a week. There really is no quick way to get a movie recommended to you on the internet based on your tastes and applicable mood. Wouldn’t it be great if there was a Pandora type service for film?

Well, that’s exactly the service that I provide.

I’m Tim and I know more about/have seen more movies than you. It’s more of a curse than anything else, but I am putting this until now anecdotal talent to good use.

Here’s how this works.

You reply to this posting with your taste/mood/circumstances. Be as specific as possible for the best possible recommendation (I.e. I am trying to impress a girl who is over at my place for the first time. She’s into women’s tennis and is afraid of sharks) Stuff like that.
In less than ten minutes (I know, right?) I will reply with my recommendation list (Along with streaming/availability options).
As this is a capitalist society, I will be charging for this service at some point, but not now. Just reach out and you will be on your way to a pleasant and informed night of movie-watching..

I am doing this both as a novelty and as proof of concept to a programmer friend of mine to potentially get a service like this into App-form in the future.
