It's not exactly clear how far can royal assent go. It's known for certain that Queen occasionally signs stuff that would otherwise be impossible to achieve. A good example is american base on Diego Garcia island which would've been impossible to build without Queen's interference.
Huh. I didn't know that. Does the Queen have as much power as the President of the US? I thought it was a little less, but I honestly don't know much about British government.
shareNah, she basically has no power, except for that Royal Assent thingy that she uses very scarcely. But when she uses it, it's usually done in secrecy and not many people have a clue that she did it. (except when investigative journalists start digging)
