I remember watching a TV Show sometime in the late 90s or very early 2000s. I am very sure it aired on Saturdays for kids. It was not animated. One episode the villain or villains, don't remember, used magic and dropped candy into a cauldron/magic pot to create a girl as a love interest for one of the main characters. I forgot the reason they did that but I think it was to try to use her to defeat the protagonist. Don't remember much else except from episode except the TV Show. Any idea the name of the TV Show?

It wasn't LazyTown. LazyTown was released when I was a a freshman in high school and didn't watch much TV back then except the occasional Passions episode on weekdays in high school.

I assume it probably came on sometime around the block of one of the Power Rangers or maybe it aired on one of the competitor stations of the time on Saturdays or something. I assume the show aired sometime between 1997-2002 because that's when I watched the most TV.

But most of my memories are hazy since it was so long ago. But I do remember that's what happened in one of the scenes from the episode.

Could it have been The Worst Witch? At least the time line and synopsis sort of coincide.
