I don't like ads either, but tolerate them here if it helps Jim offset the costs of the site.

shareThe recommended for you ads. My other browser used to block them but it stopped so I tried another ad blocker browser and the recommended for you ad is still there.
I hate ads. Words cannot express how much I hate ads. I'm almost ready to leave here permanently because of my dislike of ads.
This was happening to me too. So I went into the setting of my Adgaurd ad blocker and there was an unchecked box by something called https filter. I checked that box and that seemed to help. Movie Chat is an https site so check your ad blocker settings for something like that.
shareThat recommended for you thing I can only see those words but no pictures or actual ads. I use Chrome with AdBlock & Adblock Plus
shareI'm using the uBlock Origin extension on Firefox, and I'm not seeing one ad anywhere, including in the "recommended for you" tab.
