How do you post instead of replying?

Are some of these questions for real? I'm not trying to be mean if this person is genuine, but I don't want to be naive either -- I find it really hard to believe that some of these "help" questions are not trolling.

The person who claimed to have been an IMDB board user for years, but didn't know how to find title-specific individual boards -- and we had to explain just type the title into search and you find the movie and its board. Just like he would have to do on IMDb.....

And now a person who didn't see the large orange button saying Add new post.

Maybe I'm just being too harsh, but seriously.

It's like over on IMDb, the Film General board became overrun with a troll who would pose as "I'm a college student and I'm a girl, am I pretty? (link to picture) and how can I meet more people? " Or similar sincere sounding problems.

Everyone would fall for it and offer sincere advice and understanding. People extended themselves to be nice to this person.

Then it turned out it was Ben or someone, and the links to pictures were his IP-catching links to doxx people.

Yes, the one outside the thread at the top.
