In your opinion what movies do you think are over rated?

IMO 2001: A Space Odyssey is over rated. :)

IN THE BEDROOM (2001) got great reviews....but I can't even remember what it's about. Except there's some parents concerned about their grown son (?)

Wow, I loved this movie. It was wonderfully cast: Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Barkin, Robert Deniro. It was very moving and written by Tobias Wolf based on his own life. I'm biased because I think he's a marvelously talented writer. It's got to be twenty years since it came out. Maybe it didn't age well? I'll watch it again sometime to see if I still feel the same way.

Boyhood. For a film that took 12 years to make, they sure didn't spend much time thinking about a more interesting story.
