shareDon't forget to see its sequel mini-series from 2004, Tanner on Tanner, which is more of a satire of media and the documentary craze that hit after Fahrenheit 9/11 grossed over $100 million. It isn't perfect but has some good and memorable things in it. Cynthia Nixon had become something of a star from Sex and the City by that time, so it isn't surprising she is the central character in the sequel, not Michael Murphy.
