Who do you hope gets fired and who do you hope stays?

They had an article on facebook about Fox News firing people. Now ESPN?

In either case, it would not matter because they make so much.

Some is rich, and some is poor
And that's the way the world is
But I don't believe in laying back
Sayin' how bad your luck is

ESPN is in big trouble, losing lots of subscribers. The Wall Street rumors about Apple eventually buying Disney make it clear that, if the deal goes through, it would include selling ESPN to someone else. I've always thought that ESPN was the default entertainment choice of the brain-dead.

ESPN could completely shut down and the public would lose nothing in my opinion. I've come to accept windbag political commentators of various stripes but sports commentating is too much. ESPN has very little to offer for the NFL fan that does not love the Cowboys, Patriots, Steelers, rest of the NFC East, or Green Bay. ESPN has tried to take high school jock talk and make it a 24/7 endeavor and has failed miserably for the general public

Hey! I like you!

They should divide up Stephen A's salary and save about half of those people by firing him instead.

Well, isn't this a big FU to their employees. They're not firing them to cut costs or because their budget can't afford them. They ARE ALL BEING REPLACED. It's basically, we're revamping our staff with new, cooler people, you guys can GTFO. Shitty execs.

As far as the other poster who said that they don't offer anything for NFL fans that aren't Cowboys or Patriot fans, I feel the same way for MLB fans who don't care about the Yankees. I remember once, I watched a game where Granderson jumped over the wall and caught ball to stop a 2 run home run. I thought for sure they would have that as the play of the day on ESPN. NOPE. One play from that game, and then 11 fucking plays for the Yankees, where most of them were just hitters getting singles. I was like WTF??? It's basically bullshit. The teams with the most money, get the most coverage.

SO yeah, FUCK ESPN.

It's simple. They've been losing viewers because of their incessant liberal political slants on everything. People don't want politics when they tune into ESPN. They want sports.

Good riddance!
