Beauty And The Beast 2017

What did you guys think of it?

Honestly, I thought it was pretty good for a live action interpretation from Disney. I thought they did a good job prior with Cinderella, did a REALLY good job with The Jungle Book but I felt like a kid again watching the live action Beauty And The Beast as certain moments gave me goosebumps like Beasts and Belles dance, and the castle transformation upon Beasts death. I thought they did a fantastic job with it overall despite Emma Watsons singing being the weakest part. I give it a 9 out of 10.

What did you guys think? Here's my review of the film for anyone that's interested in reading it,

I don't think Emma did a terrible job, but maybe she wasn't the greatest? I don't know, I enjoyed the movie and I liked how they stayed pretty close to the original Disney 1991 version. I also liked some of the new scenes they added.

LaFou was hilarious and I'm liking Josh Gad a lot more now. Gaston was perfect, even if he was played by a gay actor. And I didn't mind the gay undertones like a lot of people are complaining about, because they were funny for us adults, but went over the heads of our little ones, so who cares about it?

And personally, I think us adults ended up enjoying the movie a lot more than our kids did.

Emma was ok but Ill always see her as that little kid from the Potter films. No matter how hard she tries to act in adult roles

I was fortunate to not get into the Harry Potter franchise. I even asked my gf with me who she was because she looked familiar and she gave me this weird look and told me she was "whatever her name was" from Harry Potter. I was like, "oh, neat."

Yeah you're lucky, she's forever imprinted as that little Potter girl lol

I enjoyed it. A good, though not great, film. 7.3/10.
