Bricks are aesthetically unpleasant

Whenever you look at ruins of the ancient cities, or modern day cities, you look at bricks and immediately you don't enjoy what you see. Even limestone bricks are aesthetically unsavory to the eyes.

Traditionally, the term brick referred to a unit composed of clay, but it is now used to denote any rectangular units laid in mortar. A brick can be composed of clay-bearing soil, sand, and lime, or concrete materials.

We should go back to building with huge building blocks

I would prefer mud huts. You would not even need air conditioning.

That's kind of silly, but especially because most of those brick or stone buildings were covered with plaster and paintings.

reply

Yeah. Fortunately I prefer watching movies than bricks, so it didn't bother me much.

Loved your book about the whale.

Oh, and if you lift one with you back, you could get a hernia. Hernias, I would guess, are not aesthetically pleasing neither.

And you're telling us this because....?
