Which do you prefer?

There's no longer a Church's in my area, but I remember loving that damn chicken and putting on 20 lbs by ingesting it every night for a month.

Neither. I prefer Indis, Lees (KFC's nephew), and Bojangles

Of course I think it would be a tie between Popeyes and KFC.

Definitely try out Bojangles. If you have one in your area, it is what Popeye's should be. Popeye's has hands down the best rolls though.
