I'm OK. I pay the BBC License fee which makes it happen.

I hope they don't either, CactusPants. I've relied heavily on PBS over the years for quality universal programs. Yes, Antique Roadshow is just one I watch on a regular basis.

I also watch on PBS.org, and Masterpiece.

So donate during their telethon you mooch. Give til hurts. I'm not paying for some antiquated form of media anymore. We need more bullets for our patriot soldiers.

Trump has spent more money in one month vacationing than Obama spent in ONE year.
Can he maybe stop vacationing so much?

I devour Everthing PBS has to offer. A series on the Bronte sisters is coming up in April, and this:

did I do this correctly

reply

Yes you did! 😊

I'm still confused why it doesn't do right if I don't add my words in the middle. I don't want to add words..

reply

You don't have to add your own words if you don't want to. If you want it to just show up as the link itself, then you have to put the link in between the brackets instead of your own words. So, in other words...

You put your link in between the quotation marks and also between the brackets. (instead of putting your link in between the quotation marks and your own words in between the brackets).

the GOVT funding is only a minor percentage... nothing to worry about.

plus, most PBS shows basically run "commercials" anyway -- it will survive -- and thrive!!!

reply

Public television (and radio) is IMO the only forum which is unbiased in their programming. whiskeyTango-06 is correct. It is a small % compared to donations.

reply

Yes, we watch when football or basketball is not on

I sure do hope they don't defund it. I love Roadshow, by the way. I also enjoy American Experience and Frontline. The cooking shows on Create are good too. I especially like Test Kitchen.

I love Antiques Roadshow. PBS is super important to me. It's a service we certainly can afford for the American public and I think it's shameful that it has to be debated. It broke my heart a little bit that Sesame Street went to HBO for production, not that HBO is bad, it's great, but it's Sesame Street!!
