Am i the only one who think that, creating an app (like imdb have) for this site will be a good choice to increase the popularity as well as flexibility of this website?!?

It would be nice to have a good user friendly app. I only own a tablet and it's easy enough to use for the most part, but an app would be way more convenient.
shareApple has become very finicky about apps that are essentially just "app-ified" versions of a website. Their developer guidelines have always asserted that such apps are subject to rejection from the App Store. In the last year, they have been actively enforcing the rule.

shareThe site works great on the ipad from either Safari or Chrome. It’s what I use 90% of the time. No app needed.
shareCompletely agree. Too many people are application (is that REALLY too many syllables? Really? Is your schedule REALLY too busy for three more syllables?)-happy. They needlessly complicate system design. My goal as a system designer is simplicity, elegance and directness. My iPhone gets me on MC just fine. Putting a MovieChat application on my phone just puts one more layer between me and MC. I don’t need or want that. A technogimmick is not going to increase site traffic. Driving out the trolls and posting better, ENTERTAINMENT-oriented content, will.
There is no need whatsoever for political, or religious, discourse on a site with the name MovieChat. Period.
