I'll Miss Yall..

until MovieChat is set up to have a way to block the trolls I'll wait for decent conversation/discussion. Trolls ruin everything.

I had high hopes for this place Jim has worked so hard for all of us, and I've really enjoyed being here UNTIL the last 4/5 days. Now, it's beginning to feel too much like that old site. When a normal user is called a troll for mentioning the word troll it's time to either go, or to wait them out.

I'll truly miss those of you I know want the same for 'our' MovieChat. It's was a pleasure..

Yeah, I plan on waiting the troll infestation out, but not leaving anytime soon. Gotta keep up some quality posts, right? c;

Nipsey, they added an extra p in the name, Nippsey_russell, and most of us know ya anyway to be able to tell the dif in the writing.

I'll be in my room until then. I'll stick my head out when supper's ready though, otherwise I'll just pee into the bucket in the corner. I've quit my job and told 'em I'm never coming back. I will not babysit those kids ever again. The money wasn't worth it. If I hear the siren going off all I'm gonna say is ya better RUN 'cause I ain't coming out, I tell ya, and Yep, I took the keys to the truck. You'll have to walk or catch a ride. Yup, I checked my notifications. We'll see after I re-watch Mousehunt.

Seriously, I love this place, and you guys who I KNOW aren't stinkers, and I can tell the difference since I've been here from the start.

"the kiddies will get tired soon and dad will clean it up when he gets home." I grew up during the time when I heard "You just wait 'till your Father gets home!", then I'd hear the skeaky drawer where he strap was kept.

They've cloned both our names now but whatever. Just click a name to see it's history and the brand new ones are the clones.

I hope you guys don't blame me for this. All I did was mention the "m" word (moderators) and all hell broke lose.

I did it only because the resident troll(s) started insulting people and chasing them away.

Sad to see you go but no matter what school you go to, what work place you work at, what family you were born into, what message board you post on there are always trolls. The only way to safely insulate yourself from trolls is almost to completely avoid other human beings. As Jean-Paul Sartre said at the end of his play No Exit... "L'enfer, c'est les autres"
or "Hell is other people."

Yeah hopefully this will speed up Jim's timetable... the good thing about this troll is he isn't very subtle.

See.. I just don't understand HOW there can be the same user name, yet, one is good and the oter a troll. Flipping back and forth to check user name comments and posts is sooo uneccessary!!!

I don't know how busy Jim is with his regular life commitments but looking on the bright side I think this troll will speed up some of the improvements you want.

I loved No Exit. A perfect balance between humor and existential angst.

Yep, there will always be trolls, unless a site figures out how to cut them off at the knees at registration. Easy enough to deal with them from the user end with an ignore button.
