I'd like to go to sleep now as it's 2.30am here in London. But what's making me hesitate is that should I leave, I'm afraid that this place won't be here when I return.
Thank you for the comfort blanket you provided for me, haha. Rest assured I went to sleep, went to work, returned and relieved to find this place is still up and running, AND progressing :)
I wonder if poor Jim even has anyone who is actually helping him code this place :/
You're more than welcome, I am dedicated to helping this place out and building a community. It's been a real joy actually, getting to know and talk with some people. It's a fun group, thus far! Glad you decided to join us :)
I can only imagine Jim is a superhuman by now, with the power to code quickly! We're onto you Lord Jim, and we like it!
Thank you, likewise Dreamer! I think I might actually be fitting in a little.
Jim is basically a God sent from the heavens to rescue us IMDb refugees into a safe asylum. Without him I'd be roaming the dark and empty data-space without a home. He's a cyber Godfather to us all. Hail Lord Jim ^^
I feel your pain. Believe me. I think this place is going to last for a while. Jim is a great guy and I think/hope he'll be working with others so as to keep the site going were he to become unable to run it by himself.
Babe, this site disappeared shortly today thanks to a glitch and we all panicked and remembered your post about being afraid to log off cause you don't know if the site will exist when you come back, I think that's what he's talking about.
BTW, you can read about it in a thread "Anyone else", just scroll down a bit.
Oscar-worthy for sure. Poor souls. Be strong, Jim's got this :)
Think I might have contributed to the paranoia by creating this thread. Bringing worries out of the shadows doesn't always work in our favour, sorry :P
I can't tell you how glad I am that I was at work during said glitch. Sorry you had to go through that my friend. Life can really test you sometimes...
I saw it again recently. I love the architecture of the house and Carter Burwell's score is a standout! The home invasion genre is something that was explored in the 90's quite a lot and has since been more or less abandoned.
