Not Yet. Needs to be promoted.

When I heard the news of IMDb closing, I was on the board for the movie Passengers.

After it was announced that boards will be gone, I saw no point of posting there anymore, so I started wandering aimlessly around IMDb, saying my goodbyes to the site. Just now I checked to see if anyone posted for that movie here, and no, no activity. (but the old posts are preserved)

I think we are all still confused and lost... it will get better in time.

Not yet, but it's early days. and once features such as the ability to reply to specific posts and email notifications are in place, it will be a lot easier for activity on the boards to pick up. The important thing is we're here and we're getting to know the place and each other. Keep spreading the word. :)

I think two things need to happen:

1. This site needs to get promoted. People won't come if they don't know it's here. So we gotta get the word out!

2. The usability needs to be improved, as has been noted already by the developer.

Success should come as those two things happen. This is a GREAT project and I'm really happy to see that it is underway.

There are some trickling in. Slow but that's ok.
