I don't know how these alternative boards will pan out, they might fizzle after a few months or last a little longer than that and satisfy an Internet sub culture that many of us fail to find in the more modern social media formats. But I can't help but imagine ourselves on a lifeboat after the sinking of the Titanic and Debbie Reynolds or "Molly Brown" telling us we are going to survive!
