Both are good but TMDB is better. The reason why it was "dead" because it just started back up from being in the dark since it wasn't doing any business >>>IMDB. But it's a really good site. You won't be disappointed. Just give it time.

shareI have nothing against it but the fact that this place has my favorite movie discussions archived right now is a huge plus (not to mention all our old IMDB threads for actors and TV shows). There's nothing to build. It's all there already.
If I go to TMDB and start a discussion for I Am A Fugitive From a Chain Gang (1932), Cinema Paradiso, and Kagemusha, NO ONE is showing up at TMDB and responding to me. Maybe some guy will come by one year, see my post...but leave, realizing no activity is going on, and whatever he types won't be seen either.
That's why I feel like this place has a better chance at growth, because we are picking up where we left off. Not everything was archived, but it was still a lot.
