Did you delete your IMDb account?
I didn't see much reason to stay there anymore and have just deleted my account. Not sure if I will ever go back now, as the message boards were a huge part of me using IMDb (even if I read more than I post).

shareI've kept mine because I have almost 700 reviews on there that I'd like to keep, but I'm still bitter as hell about all of this.
shareI kept it for my reviews but im still sad and angry af. suppose iv got to migrate to Reddit and boards now
shareNah. As frustrating as this is, I'm going to continue rating movies/shows, keep my watchlist, look up certain information, etc.
shareWho cares?
shareWhy ?
I considered it, but no. I think they care more about traffic than accounts at this point. I'll let my absence speak for itself when accrued with everyone else who is P.O.'d, but I've had my IMDB account for 13 years and with it a substantial history of submissions that I don't want to lose track of. Until they decide to delete them too, anyway!!
shareI hadn't thought to do it, but if I'm convinced that it will make a more powerful statement to do so, I will. I don't have many reviews or anything there, and I don't plan to visit now that the boards are deleted. The only thing making me lean toward keeping it is the outside chance they change their mind and reinstate the boards.
BTW, can we please have threaded replies?
I really enjoy having a comprehensive list of the movies I've seen, and what I rated them, so I've kept it just for that. Very sad to see the boards go, and genuinely quite unhappy at the decision making process behind disabling them entirely, but it's just too useful for me to bother transferring over 300 flicks over to any other service.
