Richard Thomas tv movies

I'm going to throw this one out there because I enjoy the tv movies of Richard Thomas (The Waltons). I realize that most of these boards have been dedicated to the tv movies of well-known actresses, but I'd like to mention some of my favorite Richard Thomas movies. Here goes:

Stephen King's It (1990): Richard perfects his stutter in this ensemble miniseries from Stephen King.

I Can Make You Love Me/Stalking Laura (1993): Richard plays a real-life stalker who preys on Brooke Shields in this movie. One of my all-time favorites.

To Save the Children (1994): Richard plays a former cop who returns to his former town to take a grade school hostage. Based on a true story. Another all-time favorite.

Flood: A River's Rampage (1998): A good flood movie set in a small town. I enjoyed it.

In the Name of the People (2000): Richard's costars include Scott Bakula and Amy Madigan. Someone should start an Amy Madigan's tv movies thread. She's done quite a few.

The Miracle of the Cards (2001): A decent movie starring Kirk Cameron and Catherine Oxenberg. Richard plays a doctor.

Time after Time (2011): Richard's most recent Hallmark movie and one that I really enjoyed. I just watched it a few months ago.

My favorite Richard Thomas TV movie is The Christmas Box.

Yes, THE CHRISTMAS BOX was great. I almost didn't watch it because the book was very popular and it frankly sounded corny. I suspect I tuned in at first only to see Maureen O'Hara.

Another Richard Thomas tv movie I love is HOBSON'S CHOICE (1983) largely because of a wonderful cameo role by Lillian Gish.

And how can we forget THE HOMECOMING (1971), one of the greatest tv movies ever (although it may have originally been a "special" rather than a tv movie kind of moot though since it's the same length as many tvms. I like the fact that they made a number of Waltons tvms after the show was long gone even though I haven't seen them all.

My favorite is PRECIOUS VICTIMS. Thomas is very good as 'Don Weber' the prosecutor
in the (Paula Sims case) great book as well(written by Weber and Charles Bosworth. and the movie does stick very well to the facts stated in the book.Another one that's not bad is DEATH IN SMALL DOSES. I haven't seen the ones you've mentioned, but I have ordered STALKING LAURA from the US and look forward to watching it.

And there was also "Living Proof: The Hank Williams Jr. Story." Pretty decent portrayal of "Bocephus."

With all the great Richard Thomas TV movies mentioned, I'm surprised nobody mentioned my favorite:

Final Jeopardy (1985) This is like a thriller/ suspense version of "The Out-of-Towners" or "After Hours", in which Richard and his wife spend the entire night running through the city, trying to escape a gang that's trying to kill them. It seems like a big budget, theatrical movie too, and I've always been surprised that this has never gotten a dvd (or even a vhs) release.

I've never seen Final Jeopardy, but I heard people talking about it in another message board somewhere and it sounded very good. I really like Richard Thomas, too, so I know I'd enjoy it.
