Two classic Horror TV movies being released in December!

I was very pleasantly surprised that, according to amazon.com, in December a double-feature dvd is being released of two classic horror made-for-Tv movies from 1978:

1. The Initiation of Sarah (Shelley Winters & Morgan Fairchild) A college student seeks revenge against the sorority girls who torment her.

2. Are You in the House Alone? (Blythe Danner & Kathleen Beller) A babysitter is terrorized by a pscho who keeps calling her.

...You get both movies for only $10.48, and it's being released by Shout Factory, so you know the quality will be excellent. I hope Shout Factory continues to release old TV movies!

Fantastic news! These seems like the perfect combination. Thanks for the update, TVmovieViewer.

Shout Factory has picked up the torch that Rhino dropped when it was acquired by WEA, releasing quality television, movie and music features that appeal to lovers of the overlooked and underappreciated.

I watched Are You In the House Alone on Netflix a few months ago and really enjoyed it, but I have never seen The Initiation of Sarah. I'll have to be on the lookout for this DVD.

Sarah is in youtube but it is broken up into parts -- at least 10.

How sad, that you were not born in my time, nor I, in yours.

Agreed.
I hope this the first release in a long line of many TV movies from Shout!/Scream Factory.

I ordered a copy from Amazon and I watched both of them the other day. Scream Factory has done a good job but unfortunately this is a bare bones release and there are no extras. If this release is a success then I hope they put out more made for tv horrors. In particular I wouldn't mind seeing another CARRIE imitation called THE SPELL from 1977.

Unfortunately, it sounds like not enough sold to convince Scream to do it again.

Really too bad, I hoped this would be the start of a beautiful collection of these great old made-for-TV films.
