Has anyone seen any of these?

At a large outdoor festival in Indiana last weekend, I bought four TV movies on DVD, three of which were still sealed.

The movies in question are:

"Death at Love House" (1976)-starring Kate Jackson and Robert Wagner-I hear the DVD isn't the best quality, which bothers me. :(

"Born to Be Sold" (1981)-starring Lynda Carter and Dean Stockwell

"Deadly Justice" (1985) (the actual title was "The Rape of Richard Beck")-starring Richard Crenna, Meredith Baxter and Joanna Kerns

"Unabomber: The True Story" (1996)-starring Robert Hays and Dean Stockwell

I was so happy to find these movies because I have heard good things about "Death at Love House" and "The Rape of Richard Beck". The other two were great finds because I had never heard of them and they have never been watched.

Has anyone seen any of these movies?

Your thoughts?

Not me.

I've seen "Death at Love House" in the past few years, and it's worth a watch mainly for the cast. Unfortunately, my DVD was very poor quality, and it felt choppy so may have been trimmed. Have you watched it yet?

I also have "Born to Be Sold" which is another decent TV movie, and my DVD was decent quality. You can't go wrong with Lynda Carter and Dean Stockwell!

The other two look interesting, but I haven't seen or heard of them. "The Rape of Richard Beck" is a much better title than the generic adjective-noun "Deadly Justice," in my opinion.

Like a lot of TV movies, these titles appear to be in the public domain, so there's not a lot of quality control.

I have since watched all of these movies and I think my favorite is "Deadly Justice" (aka "The Rape of Richard Beck"). It was well-acted with sensitive subject matter and was very entertaining.

"Death at Love House" was campy fun and the quality of the film wasn't too bad, so I enjoyed it.

"Born to Be Sold" was a good movie. Lynda Carter and Dean Stockwell make anything watchable, and this one was very good. There was another actress in this named Donna Wilkes, I think, who was very good, too.

I didn't care for the "Unabomber" movie as much. Robert Hays was in the movie throughout, but I've seen him give better performances. Dean Stockwell was very good in the movie, though. It was still an interesting film because it was fact-based.

How interesting that I found two of Dean's TV movies in the same place.

Yes, to Born to be Sold.
