Best of the Lifetime movies

I'm enjoying the Lifetime movies of recent years. One comment that I noticed the other day was that the classic Lifetime films were all made in the 1990s. But I would appreciate any Lifetime recommendations from any period of their output. What titles do you consider their best efforts?

Some of these movies might've originally aired on other networks, but Lifetime is where I first saw them. They're from the 90's.

For the Love of Nancy - Tracey Gold plays a woman with anorexia. I always get sad when her dad throws her bowl of lettuce off the table and barks at her to eat real food.

Sins of the Mind - a young woman suffers a head injury in a car accident and loses all impulse control and turns into a sex addict.

The Burning Bed - we all know that one. So disturbing and sad.

A Cry For Help: The Tracey Thurman Story - damn that old cop and his pee break!

In the Best Interest of The Children - Kids should've been allowed to stay with Sally Struthers and her husband.

A Killer Among Friends with Patty Duke and Tiffany Amber Theissen and of course A Friend to Die For starring Kellie Martin and Tori Spelling.

There are many more, but I'll stop there.

Thanks for your helpful list of those to look out for. Most of the Lifetime movies that I've seen are more recent than those classics from the 1990s.

No problem. I haven't seen most of those movies on Lifetime in years, but it's possible they aired them again and I missed it. Hope you like them if you catch them. 

Thanks for those recommendations. I think I've seen 'The Face On The Milk Carton' under a different title. It's a good movie with Kellie Martin in it.

I saw The Face On the Milk Carton for the first time in eons over the holidays on LMN, I believe. I wish they'd made a sequel since the movie was based on a book series.

I've got two more recommendations:

A Child Lost Forever: The Jerry Sherwood Story
A Promise to Carolyn

Thanks for the further recommendations I need to catch. 'The Face On The Milk Carton' was so unusual. I would like to see more of where that one came from.

I bought three recent Lifetime movies recently:

1. Amish Grace (2010)
2. To Be Fat Like Me (2007)
3. Girl Fight (2011)

They are all based on true stories and I love movies like that. These three were all very good, with Amish Grace and Girl Fight being especially sad and poignant at times.
