13 to 17 was hard rock seattle type bands, pearl Jam nirvana soundgarden alice in chains. back then mtv was good

The Beatles, The Who,Fleetwood Mac (pre Rumours) Elton John Pink Floyd Etc. Real Music

Back when I was a kid it was all The Beatles, The Stones, The Who and Led Zep - in those days rock was real, it was raw and it was in your face. But the tunes from back then are still legendary today.

I'm a black female and I enjoyed listening to a variety of music. I was born in 1982 by 1985 I was about 5 I loved watching music videos MTV, VH1, and BET. My dad he was into music his collection consisted of R&B/soul, Blues, and Jazz so I grew up on that stuff.

From watching my favorite network at the time MTV (I had no idea who the singer was just loved the music) I enjoyed Wham!, George Michael, Culture Club, Jane Child, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Pet Shop Boys, Whitney Houston, and etc. So my music selection was diverse.

In the early 90's I wasn't into hip hop but I rappers like LL Cool J, Will Smith, MC Hammer, Kid & Play, dance music was starting to get popular Cece peniston, Technotronic, and etc. When my dad got stationed in Okinawa and it wasn't until 1995 when we got cable on the base. I discovered music again this time I turned to BET and fell in love with R&B/Hip Hop people like Brandy, Monica, TLC, Usher, Aaliyah, I was 13 in 1995. I was still into MTV and I would read magazine and my group of friends I had we liked different kinds of music I develop pop Alanis Morrisette, The Cardigans, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, whatever was playing on MTV I dug it.

Hey Paris sorry for the late, late response. I don't have Daft Punk new CD I do have their CD with "one more time" I forgot the name of the CD the cover was all black and just said Daft Punk.
